CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR ACADEMIC STAFF POSITIONS 2014 / 2015 ACADEMIC YEAR: The PAU is an initiative of the African Heads of State and Government of the African Union. It is a Premier continental University network whose mission is to provide wholesome postgraduate

education geared towards the achievement of a prosperous, integrated and peaceful Africa. The goal of the PAU is to usher in a new generation of leaders, well-equipped to harness the wealth of African human and natural resources, imbued with a common vision of a peaceful, prosperous and integrated Africa. To complement its international faculty, the PAU is seeking to fill the following long-term, short-term and part-time positions at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer or equivalent.
Qualifications:

ACADEMIC STAFF REQUIRED:

Academic staff will be recruited from the host institution, the host country, other African countries, the African Diaspora and the international academic community, in the following categories

i
Long-term teaching staff

ii
Part-time (three weeks or more) teaching staff from within and outside the Host Institution

iii
International visiting scholars for teaching and research

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must be Professors, Senior Lecturers or equivalent, with teaching and research experience in the relevant area of specialization
They must show evidence of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals, and attracting grants for research.
Applicants must also have supervised student research projects at Master’s and Doctoral levels in their area of specialization.
