Maendeleo Bank Plc. commenced operations in September 2013 as a Regional Bank with its Headquarters at Luther House, Sokoine Drive - Dar es Salaam. Maendeleo Bank is the first bank in Tanzania to be registered on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) from its inception.
In its effort to strengthen its operations Maendeleo Bank PLC Wishes to recruit motivated, result oriented and suitably qualified candidate to fill the following vacant positions within the Bank:
Job Summary:
Reporting to Finance Manager, the Senior Human Resources Officer is responsible for handling all Human Resources related matters within the bank.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
Holder of B.A (Public Administration) or Masters Degree in Human Resources Management/Public Administration with at least two years experience in the field. Experience in Banking/ Financial institution will be an added advantage.
Skills and Attributes:
Self-motivated with professional integrity, possess good inter personal skills and effective organizational skills.
Key Accountabilities:
Prepare and execute processes of recruitment, compensation, motivation and retention of high performing staff.
Advising and supporting Management in the preparation and implementation of the Human Resources Policies and Procedures
Providing technical advice and administrative services to line managers in employment and labor relations.
Advising the Management in the design of jobs, review of organization structure and management of corporate culture
Provide advice on remuneration policy and administering salary and benefits schemes which will attract, retain and motivate staff.
Advising Management on employees' relations, disciplinary matters and managing programs focusing on workers participation to maximize staff commitment and minimize staff conflicts/disputes.
Ensuring that the Human Resources Policy of the bank is reviewed from time to time taking cognizance of the changes in the county labour laws and the bank's own policies.
Coordinating the performance appraisal process and the resulting awards at least once annually
In liaison with other operating units, carrying out Training needs Assessment, preparing training and development programs, organize training events and evaluations.
Attending to any other duties as may be assigned to him /her from time to time.
