- Must possess at least 7 years- direct experience in a commercial role
- Experience in commodities, government issues and logistics is required
- Must possess excellent communication skills and computer literacy
- Demonstrable experience in supervising a team
- The candidate must possess some technical knowledge in operations
Job Profile :
Handle all the operational issues that occur in the job including but not limited to local issues, marketing, clearing etc
- Responsible for setting up infrastructure and monitor procurement staff
- Managing and overseeing overall operations of the factories including production, labor, warehouse stock quality
- Overseeing activities to ensure processes and procedures are understood and followed
- Keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements
- Preparing costing and budgeting for the operations and drive cost cutting wherever relevant
- Managing the procurement process, buying as necessary and interacting with the field procurement officers on a daily basis
- Effectively managing the procurement officers as well as any other employees working under them
- Ensuring the responsible branch is running smoothly
