Job Title: Driver/Logistics Officer

Employer: TCCIA (Tanzanian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture)

Duty Station: Babati, Tanzania

Duties and Responsibilities:

Transportation:

• Driving project car to the field
• Fuelling of office car
• Maintain and control of logbook (Properly filled in)
• Responsible for vehicle road license and insurance
• Timely maintenance and repair of office car under his capacity
• Purchasing of tyres and spare parts
• Ensure vehicles are clean and in good order

Logistics:

Collecting and sending documents
Payment of bills e.g. NSSF, TTCL, TRA, Postal, Tanesco, Water and Salaries.
Minor maintenance of office equipment
Perform any other duties as directed by your supervisor (Executive Officer)

Job requirements:

Certificate of any recognized driving institute
Have a valid driving license
A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience

Required profile:

• Good driving records (no accidents)
• Familiar with Manyara region
• Knowledge and skills in (basic) car mechanics is an advantage
• Must be flexible in terms of working hours and location (ready to travel regularly away from Babati)
• Good communication, inter-personal skills and attitudes;
